“Raised four children in Weldon Spring 1992-2012. All attended and graduated from FHHS. I was diagnosed with PMR (a GERIATRIC Autoimmune Disease) at 47 years old and have had numerous overlapping autoimmune diagnoses since. Myself and two of my three daughters had surgery for endometriosis, mine ending in total hysterectomy.
My son was diagnosed with MS at the "unheard of" (according to his neurologist) age of 19, in 2005, one year after graduating FHHS. According to his physician MS is rarely, if ever seen, under the age of 25. He is 37 now, on disability, barely making ends meet. He is in Colorado where he can be treated and followed by the Rocky Mountain MS Center. His life is forever changed. He (and my family) fished August Busch Wildlife lakes from early 90's. He went to college in 2005 and was diagnosed his freshman year there. He continued on to get his degree (it took him five years to get his four year degree due to the MS treatments.) Although he has a degree in Business Admin / Internet Marketing, he has never been able to use it due to his disease.
All four of my children played in the creek that ran through our back yard and we were told it was a run off from Weldon Spring and/or Busch Wildlife. Had we known, had it been disclosed we would have never, EVER, moved out children there. I am frustrated and angry as hell!”
